Descriptif : The present two-volume edition of Mozart’s piano sonatas reproduces the text of the Neue MozartAusgabe (New Mozart Edition = NMA IX/25). '

It includes in their authentic scoring all hitherto known works by Mozart in this genre; namely, nine works in the main corpus of each of the two volumes, and in the Appendices to Volumes 1 and 2, respectively,the first, uncompleted version of the first movement of K. 284 (205b) and the first version of the Rondo K. 494, the latter having been eventually reworked by Mozart and joined to the two movements of K. 533 to create a new sonata (No. 15).
